As you are seeing, self-care is more than attending to physical needs. Self-care is a matter of attending to your mind, body and spirit. So how does trying on hats fit here. Well this is about memories; both past memories lightening our hearts and making new memories that help get us through the darker days. You can see this as a store-house for a rainy day. Trying on hats with my daughter today brought back memories of doing the same with my grandmother many years ago. It also felt good to be making a memory with my daughter. You just never know when you are making a memory; be more intentional at making memories it will make a big difference.
