Self-Care Series: 40-Day Challenge (Day-22)

Emperors drank tea as early as the 2nd century BC. There are over 3000 types of tea; the most common in the U.S. are:

 

  • Black tea
  • Oolong
  • Jasmine
  • Green tea
  • Flower teas
  • Herbal teas
  • Matcha

Tea is very healthy for us as well as being tasty. Tea is high in antioxidants and a healthy drink for weight loss. Each type of tea has its own unique health benefits. 

 

I also mentioned becoming a connoisseur; which involves becoming somewhat of an expert in something you have an interest  or passion for. This is a good self-care tip because it helps us to learn new information, which is great for brain health and it lends itself to higher self esteem–“look what I learned.” What do you have a passion for that might lend itself to you becoming an expert?
